Scoring the GDQ Online Begins!

You asked for it and, finally, you got it. The online GDQ scoring system will be up and running within the next few days I’ve taken the GDQ scoring system for a number of test-drives. It’s terrific. Programmers Ryan Harper and Troy Blaser developed the system, with management support from Jonathan Powell of LearningBridge, Inc. Dr. Larry Richard of Hildebrandt, a division of Thompson Learning, was instrumental in supporting the project and contributing to the development of a super GDQ scoring system.

This first version is in English. The next version will be for teams in the legal profession. GDQ questions won’t change in that version but some changes will be made in the Group Information and Personal Information sections. I expect that a Swedish language version will follow. As use of the GDQ expands to other countries and languages, more versions will, undoubtedly, be required. Think of the research possibilities! Exciting, isn’t it?

Within a few days, you will be receiving an email from LearningBridge, Inc. with instructions about how to access the GDQ scoring system, pricing, and other details.

Speaking of Emails

GDQ certified folks move around quite a lot. Home addresses change. Jobs change. Even countries change, in some cases. GDQ staff can’t keep up. In every newsletter, we ask you to update your contact information. Some respond and some don’t. I think some people are really lost to us. So, I’ve come up with a new strategy. The names below are some of the lost people. If you know how to reach that someone, especially by email, let us know. Also, let that person know that we are searching for them.
Thanks for your help

This and That

• In May, I went to Sweden again. In addition to training and coaching, I gave two keynote presentations at the Group Research and Social Psychology conference at the University of Lund. I also was interviewed for an article in Personal & Ledarskap, a magazine for human resource professionals.

• Finally, if you have changed jobs, moved, or switched emails etc, and we do not have your current information, please send it along. We don’t want to lose touch. Thanks!
